Droopz90IROC's Comments:

Prity happy with the car at the moment. Still the only N2O running car on TotalRPM. Being a IROC-Z, the Camaro is already quite a performer and has alot of performance upgrades stock. These include upgraded disc brakes and tuned suspension. There are a few things left on the "To Do" list like a 2500ish Stall converter, more aggressive diff gears (3.9 or 4.11)

Well, im in Sydney now and DAMN! I cant tell you how much difference your climate make to the performance of high-displacment engines.

Seriously, everyone who has got track times down here would run nearly a full second slower up in Darwin! The ambient air temp and very low humidity just pick throtle response WAY up. Cant wait to head out to Eastern Creek for some new times.... biggrin.gif

Posted by: Guest_B_BodyGm on December 21, 2003

[B]I don't know if you aussie's are familiar with the 1996 chevy impala but it also has a small block 350ci motor LT1 which is more more powerful than the LS1 which was in the Camaro before it was retired here in the US.I also drive a 1991 LTZ pack Caprice ex police car it's 350LT1 has been punched to 383ci LT4 heads ported polished and matched.I have LT4 intake and headman headers this car is not for the meek it's gernerates 455hp on pump gas 98 octane and puts it to the ground trough a 4L60E with B@M cluthes,3200 stall convertor and red devil clutches. I'm considering selling the car when i move to Australia how much would would they pay for something like this in your coutry since all the rage seems to be about a very weak LS1 compare to the LT1's and LT4's that the US used to make in there ceverlet division of GM.

hey droopz, how much did your seats set you back, im thinking of getting something similiar... does the lack of recliner piss you off or are the heaps comfortable in the fixed position

Man IM going to have to update my user on here to show the true potential of the motor I am build ATM. Pretty much will put out approx 350HP + with the shot of 150HP NOS. My pistons are totally custom made but I gotta find a gearbox and diff that will take the power in the old HR Ute. The Supercharger should be able to handle it but hey we will wait and find out soon enough!!
