Did a full rebuild on the engine, including new rings, seals, bearings etc. I was gonna get a nice cam for it at the time, but didnt end up getting one. Still wanna do that!!

Just a nice rear muffler to replace the factory one. I plan on getting a full 2 1/2 inch system plus some extractors.

I have plans for a respray. Probably go with Velocity Red, which is the metallic red on the new mazda's. I dont really wana change the factory colour completely.

Tacho lights now light up blue thanks to some LED wedge globes ;) Also changed the steering wheel to a much smaller Autotechnica one, wouldn't mind a MOMO one day. Turned the factory shifter into a short-shifter, much much better!

18-inch ANZ wheels, with 225's on the rear and 235's on the front. Couldnt fit the 235's on the rear! and the 225's fit within mm's. Don't really like the wheels much myself, but they suit the car and I picked them up fairly cheap.

Compressed Super-Low King Springs. Looks neat as, but the ride is bumpy as, suspension is VERY solid now.

Yeh not as much as i'd like performance wise, but she goes pretty well after the rebuild, especially on those cold nights I really wana save for my next car, but i keep spending money on this one, so who knows maybe it'll be turbo one day Just wana get it lookin clean & neat 4 now

Thats a nice car you got there....saw it on saturday couldnt belive how good the rims look... all you need is to turbo the beast and put a massive Front mount and that thing will be one of the best TX5s going around ...BUT the only thing that i dont like about it at the moment is that you still got the MUD FLAPS on you have to drop'em...anyway till next time take care

Ile pay u 2 convince my old man lol, might happen one day. Guna respray it Velocity Red maybe at the end of the year. The guy who had it b4 left it in his garage for 12 months, so its been a bit of work neatening it up. Think the respray will set it off nicely

Where abouts do you live?? Where have you seen me? I had stockies on it while my old man took the 18's into work to balance them. Haha had stockies on the back for a couple days :S Looked like a bit of a noobie.. stockies on the back of a fwd lol. I'm guna give those 18in wheels back, turns out they are pretty fucked I'll prob put the turbo 15's on for now, and save up for some other 18's. Try and find some similar looking ones hopefully, cos I reckon they suited.

Hey Guys, gearbox troubles have me stunned and i was wondering if there is a difference between tx5 2.2L AT gearboxes and Tx5 turbo (1990 2.2L) gearboxes? or if any one could tell me what else is compatible would be great, thanx for reading

Hey, the turbo gearboxes have a bigger input shaft so i dont think you could use a NA gearbox on the turbo motor or vise versa. I was going to buy an auto turbo tx5 and convert it to manual but didnt for that reason. I imagine it would be hard to find a good manual turbo box.

word of advice...even if it is compatible, dont get the N/A tx5 box! way too weak...you will break it in a matter of days. lol, ask texy_5 how weak it is, he knows from experience, as do i

Yeh definitely, I managed to bust my box about 12 months ago. I blew the diff through the gearbox housing lol That was an NA engine and NA box. I was giving it hell with burnouts, sure learnt my lesson $660 later!
But yeh i'd agree not to try an NA box with turbo motor, wont last long at all.

thanx guys, yeah found out today that too, but also getting new one for $900 :-O shocking hey, the bearing on the gearbox went putting the synchros and shaft out of place and causes it to jump out of gear sometimes (only in 5th)... anyways, that new one is being put in on friday :-D sweet as, cheers guys

im on my fifth box now i kept my last box cos the gears felt very strong so im planning to see if i can fit the turbo diff assembaly in the Na housing
