This is My VL, my first car and i love it! ive got the look i want without spending huge amounts of money, when i brought it, it had nice paint, a straight body, and a decent engine, its only a N/A 3.0 nissan, but it does the job.

2.5 in full system minus extractors

Berlina Tail lights, Exhaust tip, VS holden badge (on front).

Calais door trims, Calais dash cluster, Saas woodgrain steering wheel, HRT seat covers, Calais centre console (sprayed black), Autotechnica pedals, 2 blue neons under dash, 2 black light neons in parcel shelf, custom parcel shelf, Black Widow alarm system with remote central locking. Just installed a complete Calais interior in perfect condition which will improve the appearance vastly, this includes all seats, door trims, roof lining, dash, carpet, c pilar covers, console, parcel shelf, etc.

Set of 16" VR clubsport mags, with 225/50 tyres. These are a lot stickier that the cheese cutter standard wheel and tyre package.

Pioneer DEH 7650 50X4 Head Unit, Alpine 6" Type S 2 ways up front, Pioneer 6X9 220w 3 Ways, Alpine 5 channel V Power Amplifier 75X4 + Alpine mono block 760w amp with kenwood 800w 12in Sub.

A few things:
1. Needs an angle grinder on the springs
2. HSV stickers???? get them off.
3. VS badge on the front, get rid of it.
4. Rear venetions HA HA HA HA. Take them off too, grandpa.

Good work though, excellent effort.

3. The VS badge looks better then the VL badge, and a hell of a lot better than 2 holes.
4. The idea is to stop prying eyes from seeing my speakers, my mates have had there cars broken into and speakers stolen.

If I owned it it would leave it stock
then drop a twin cam head then matching turbo
brake upgrade (but nothing fancy somthing stock looking , use a Water-air intercooler no fancy thing hanging out front) 11second sleeper

My mates reckon you ought to put a turbo in it , put a calais bodykit and dump it on its nuts. I on the other hand would just love to see it lowered. Although, the venecian blinds must go, why block the tinted rear windshield with that thing?

yes, quiet large, its one of those aeropro ones

errr..... think all aerials are that length, mine was massive to an my VL (Fake_HDT).... i think..... never stretched out though! looks like a giant remote control car when u do!! lol

Nice commo all round buddy but i just dont like 2 things... The rear window venetian thing ( good idea) but doesnt suit the car and the second thing is, take the rims off and put a set of 20inch cromies on the car with low profile tyres! Ur car will then have sum looks about it!

One more thing i 4got to mention, The cream colour trimmings around the side windows, paint them black it'll make the tints look darker

good idea with the window surrounds, im planning on doing that this summer, also the venetian currently has been off the car for some time.

Looks good dude. I have an 88 beige NA which is totally stock apart from stereo and interceptors. Your car has given me some good ideas on how I can get it to look alrite. Good work.

Nice work mate, your given me some good ideas on what i can do to my VL Ex. I agree with everyone else though, get rid of the rear window venetian shades!!!! Also if you put on some 17" SS Mags it would look a lot better.....Oh and one more thing.... what RMS is your 6" ????

as for the berlina not calais comment about my interior, i assure you its a series 1 calais interior, my parents have a berlina, so i know for a fact its not a berlina, maybe the photos dont show it too well, i dont know.

yeah well it may be 2 years on and shit not to mention that we are best buds but i can assure everyone that your interior is 100% Calais and that with the recent respray of the bumpers it's lookin a milion bucks especially now that i have sold my VL to my lil'bro evn tho he doesn't deserve it LOL !!! neway have a good one bet ya dont see this message for ages
