Engine Swap:

J-spec FE3/1998cc-121.9cu in-2.0L/86mm bore-3.39cu in/86mm stroke-3.39cu in/cast iron block/aluminum head/DOHC/16 valves/9.2:1 compression/[stock DID NOT COME turbo charged-148bhp@6000rpm & 140ft/lbs@4500rpm]

Engine Work:

Motor now has different crank (my one secret), .20 over bore, custom wiseco 8.5:1 compression pistons, perfect circle rings, toga high flow oil pump, Nitrous Express wet kit jetted for 55 shot/ Maxspeed Motorsports oil cooler kit with oil temperature and oil pressure gauges all steel braided lines

Fuel System:

650cc injectors/ Walbro 255lph fuel pump/ MBX Motorsports ulitmate adjustable FPR kit with steel braided lines and liquid filled gauge

Head Work:

stiffer valve springs,stock everything else

Intake/Exhaust:

Self made with K&N cone filter/ all my own 2 1/2" intercooler piping /Custom turbo manifold/ 3" turbo back mandrel bent exhaust/ Apexi Muffler

Interior:

Two A-pillar gauge pods Autometer boost gauge & Greddy EGT gauge, 2gauge pod on dash with AEM wideband O2 with LED and digital readouts & Nitrous pressure gauge,2gauge pod on dash with Oil temperature gauge & Oil pressure gauge, Roll/Race bar with removable cross piece to allow access to back seat

Rolling Stock:

Motegi Racing MR-12's 16x7.5" [16.5lbs.] / Yokohama 205/55/16, Wife stole rims for her car now have black 3rd gen RX7 rims (much wider) 8.5", wrapped with 225/50/16 Kumho supra ecstas, and a set of BF Goodrich drag radials

Performance Comments:

I could go for more power but right around 400 horse will be just fine for me. this is an estimation given other fe3 motors with similar modifications

You should get the trophy for this year's most improved MX-6 redneck. I can remember such a short time ago she was just another mild mannered 1st gen 4x4 (if you happen to consider the F2t torque monster mild mannered twisted.gif ). I applaud your jumping into the FE3 project so intensely. It's refreshing to see someone doing it right and not to half assed. Gotta get her on a dyno soon!

red hows the beast coming along?

i take it your working on the diff and gearing atm like suggested in other thread, you have an estimated ready time on this, i would love to hear your impressions of the phantom grip lsd as im hanging to get one myself. By the way wat sort of springs did you get with it, apparently there are three types, green (street), red (street/race), gold (race) that offer different properties...

Nice car!! I wish I had the money to do a FE3 swap!!
But anyway do u have a part number on those pistons?? I want to get a set for my F2T 88MX6;;; check out my 6T
