Cordial's Comments: |
Well my cordia is still being built. But then again I suppose so are all high performance cars. I have had this cordia for about a year now, and so far have dropped a new engine in. But all the modifications you can read about later on. It features harlequin blue to purple paint. 15 inch polished rimms with falken 195's on the front and Dunlop 195's on the back. I will keep this updated with all the modifications as I do them. |

Engine Swap: |
$3000 |
I blew the origional engine up. So I souced a recon engine from Adelaide, this engine was pretty standard with only a high flowed TC06 turbo. The engine was $1100 but due to brake and drive shaft problems I walked out with a $3000 bill |

Engine Work: |
$300 |
All I have done here is add a Autotechnicia type 3 blow off valve. This is loud and works very well with my turbo. |

Exterior: |
$4000 |
Harlequin Blue to Purple spray job. Soon to come, evo style bonnet vents. |
|
Intake/Exhaust: |
$300 |
3 inch exaughst straight from the turbo back. 1 muffler, no catalytic converters (leaded model), which goes into a 4 inch sports muffler. *Soon to add, resonator* |
|
Rolling Stock: |
$1000 |
15 inch polished rimms with Falken on the front and Dunlop's on the back. Both being 195's. I am up for new tyres and am considering purchasing 205's all round, I'll post here if it happens |

Stereo System: |
$5000 |
JVC MP3 headunit, super sound 6x9's in the parcel shelf, sony 6.5 inch 3 ways in the front doors, 2 JBL GT212 12 inch subs in the boot. All is driven by 1 phillips 600 watt amp and 1 phillips 1000 watt amp |

Performance Comments: |
Running crap quarters at the moment. Have a major vaccum leak as well as a slipping clutch and crunching gear box. I'll fix these then head down to the strip again and update the time. |

nice lapper, but i suppose its all show and no go, i have got a pretty much stock s4 rx7 that will easily beat your car with stock exhaust and stock boost, but never the less sweet town car |

Hey sweet car dude, especially and paint job.
I reakon people underestamate cordias. My friend only recently grew respect for my cordia after i pulled away from his commodore in a race. And that was before i cleaned my injectors. Goes to show what Cordias can do. |

Nice wheels. I love cordia's i am about to buy my fathers cordia from him. Pretty standard with a reconditioned turbo and 10psi boost. Got a luvly wing and 17 inch rims too. My advice (well this is what i am doing anyway) is to drop in an early evo engine, maybe like a series 4 or 5, add an intercooler, and see about converting the beast to AWD. The evo engine bolts straight on the the stock gearbox but the engine mounts will need modification. I like the paint job you got but the engine bay looks untidy. Cordia engine bays are all untidy mainly cause the pipe from the turbo to the inlet goes over the engine, and untidy engine bays give me the poops. If the evo engine is out of the question, get one from a vr4 galant, it's the same engine, but the evo ones are already suped up. And please get a aluminium radiator and some braided hoses, it'll look a lot nicer, the car will run a little cooler (meaning you can flog it more), and it won't set you back too much. |
