OPEN DYNO DAY

NOTE: This dyno day was originally organised for Suzukis on a Suzuki forum, but in order to get higher numbers I'm asking other forums if they would like to attend. As a result there have been a number of other catagories opened (see below). I have secured some sponsors already for the day, with more pending which is awesome.

While the day is suited more towards 4 cylinders, 6's and 8's are more than welcome as long as no "capacity bashing" goes on.

DATE:
Sunday 22nd of August 2004

TIME:
Things will kick off from around 7:30am – 8:00am.

WHERE:
Insight Motorsports
Unit 8/34 Lidco St
Arndell Park NSW 2148

How do I express interest?
Pre Payment WAS open, but I don’t wish to publish my bank details
everywhere. Please email mitch01@bigpond.net.au and leave your details to express interest. Places are on a first come first served basis, and payment is available on the day. Please do not express interest unless you are almost 100% certain you can attend.

How much will this cost and how many cars can compete?
Pricing will be $66 (for <40cars) or $50 approx if we can get 40+ cars on
the dyno. First to pay gets allocated a spot.

What do you get for your money?
3 power runs on the dyno in shootout mode by a Dyno Dynamics accredited Dyno operator, a colour print out of your best run, lunch including a drink and
salad and snags etc, a certificate with your dyno result on it, and your
chance of a prize.

How does it work?
When you pay on the day, you will be given 3 tokens (Dyno Dollars). One is for the Dyno Run, one is for lunch, and one for drink. Each driver entering their vehicle will be forced to sign a disclaimer waiving organisers, dyno operators, etc of any damage that may occur to their vehicle as a result. This also covers us against people dynoing cars that are NOT owned by themselves.

What about other cars and catagories?
All cars are invited to turn up, and any 2WD car is fine to go on the dyno.
Open catagories take into account turbo’s, supercharged, or N/A vehicles.

What else do I need to know?
NOTE: No modifications are allowed to be made to vehicles between dyno runs.
Cars are ran as is, and if the dyno operator feels the car is not up to the
task, he will shut it down.

If you have a car thats abnormally low, please let me know in advance (when expressing interest). Cars that are very low may well have problems getting on the dyno and require the front bar to be removed.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN ADVANCE - AS THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS ON THE DYNO (50 odd)

CATAGORIES
Suzuki
1.3L Carby, 1.3L G13B, Forced Suzuki, Other Suzukis (Balenos, Ignis, etc
etc)

Sorry if this is considered spamming, but I thought other 4 cylinder and fellow car owners might like to put their car on the rollers smile.gif ..

Please advise ASAP as I need to organise food, printouts and stuff like that.

Thanks ... Mitch01
