V8 Wagon:
I've got an edelbrock 500cfm performer series 4 barrel to match up with the performer series inlet manifold. Alot of people use this manifold but they usually bolt holleys on, why?
whats so good about holleys and whats so bad about edelbrocks?

1tina:
ok, as far as I know, edlebrock carbies are better than the hollys, but the holly carby is well known, whereas edlebrock isnt....if I was you, I would stick with the edlebrock, as you will get a lot more performance out of it.

SikXC:
I don't know all that much about Edelbrokc Caburettors but i know a fair bit about Holley's and why people like them so much.

The reason behind people liking them so much (this is what the a performance shop told me) is that they can be easily modified, bigger jets, different floats etc to suit different sized engines and applications e.g. marine, drag racing, street/strip as well.

So thats why i think people like Holley's on those manifolds instead of the Edelbrock Carburettor.
