1tina: ok, I sorta need a little help here, I want, of should I say, NEED to put power steering on the TE Cortina, what do I need, where do I get it from (what model and type of car), and how do I go about fitting it all? and is there nething in particular that I should know about fitting it? thanx.
tinav8: Power steering is available for both TE and TF 6cyl models. They are bolt on, no modification required. You need to find a cortina power rack and the matching pump and mounts. One Question....Why would you need power steer...cortina steering is very light even when fitted with a V8? Let me know if you need pictures of the parts for reference.

There's no sweeter sound than that of a Ford piston going up and down.
1tina: ok, I need the power steering for when I am competing in burnout comps, just makes it easier to steer (I am used to having power steering on the other car), pics would b more helpful if you could send em to me, thanks.
-------------------- WHOHOO ... got my opens today ... as much as it would matter to me anyway ... and 96 in the ash tray! |
