SikXC:
Can i remove my standard issue cooling fan on my 250 x-flow and fit a thermo-fan in its place? would there be enough room in between the pulley and the radiator or would i have to move the radiator forward a little?

Will i get an increase in the engine revving more freely and a power increase as well?

Any opinions/how to do it's would be nice

Regards

Michael

I do beleive that you would be beta off just adding a thermo and not replacing. I have seen TE cortinas with a thermo in the front of the radiators, not sure how you would do, as I havnt looked into that much myself yet.

SikXC:
I have my air-con radiator in the way, not sure if i could do that.

Also, any way of repairing the seat belt wind-up mechanism?

EvilChief:
If you can find a considerable performance increase by replacing cooling fans on a street car, you must have a wiered engine. If the new fan is capable of cooling your radiator and the cooling fluid better, you engine will defeinately last longer ...

a fan clutch is what sucks the power, not the fan. yes thurmos are better, and better again if fitted between the rad and engine, not in frount of the rad. no, you wouldnt have enough space to fit one between the evap and red.
