My first glimpse of a 1st gen MX-6 was a shiny red LX I saw for sale and later purchased. I fell in love with the car and owned it for two years before I sold it to buy a GT.
The GT needed a lot more work than the LX, however it came with a new low milage motor which gave me a good start to build from. The car is a work in progress, but has been reliable for the most part and a really fun car to call your daily driver. |

Performance Comments: |
My best quarter mile so far was in Sept. '03, when I pulled a 15.1 @ 96 mph or so. Unfortunately that was with a toasted clutch, bad tranny, totally shot suspension/motor mounts.
The tranny and clutch was recently replaced and hopefully I will get a nice suspension set up and poly mounts so I can finally get the power to the ground. |
