Sanding Headlights
Very Easy And Inexpensive Mod

1. Look at your nasty, cloudy headlights... blech

2. Lift hood and remove your funky headlights

3. Remove the clips and the front clear cover to the lights.

4. Drop the covers into a bucket of water and OxiClean to remove fog from inside and clean the plastic.

5. Sand the headlights down to a powdery white with a medium medium grit (800-1000 grain) sandpaper, then again with a HIGH grit (1200-1500 grain) sandpaper. Sand everywhere you see the nasty oxidation.

6. Drop the covers in another bucket of water and OxiClean to further remove grime that was trapped and is now released.
7. Dry the covers off and apply coats of clear spray paint evenly over the cover.

Note: you can apply as many clearcoats as you desire, but be sure to make them LIGHT and EVEN coats of paint!

8. Pop the covers in place, snap on the clips, and return them to their home!
